Black Women SHERO Day

Our second event, Black Women SHERO Day, was a free community gathering focused on sexual and reproductive health for Black women in Lambeth. It took place on 11th January 2025, from 12 PM to 4 PM, at St Matthew’s Church, Brixton, SW2 1JF. The event featured expert discussions, free health checks, wellness activities, and opportunities to connect with others over refreshments.
Open to all, it provided a chance to learn, network, and celebrate health and wellness in a supportive environment. Attendees also learned about SHERO and had the opportunity to apply to become a Champion within the programme, contributing directly to empowering their communities.
